About RRDC

A consultative cloud infrastructure firm. Built for the moment cloud stopped being the easy answer.

RRDC helps North American enterprises diagnose the compute, capacity, and cost problems hyperscalers and hardware vendors created — and connects them to a private cloud network capable of fixing them. The advisory is free. The introduction is what's hard to get.

Founder

About Karim Remu.

RRDC is founded and led by Karim Remu, a national cloud and AI infrastructure leader based in Toronto.

For more than twenty years Karim has worked inside the rooms where North American enterprises make their cloud and infrastructure decisions. Most recently as Director of National AI, Application Modernization, Data, Cloud, and Cybersecurity at Kyndryl, where he led a national architecture and delivery organization running complex transformation programs across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud for enterprise, provincial, and federal customers. Before that, as Vice President of Global AI and HPC Partner Strategy at Cylix Solutions, he built the partner ecosystem connecting NVIDIA, Dell, HPE, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Fortinet, WEKA, and Liqid to enterprise AI and HPC customers.

Earlier, three years at CDW Canada building the national Hybrid Cloud Architecture practice from the ground up and growing the cloud business thirty-three percent year over year. And before that, twelve years at Cisco in senior national leadership roles across hybrid cloud, data center architecture engineering, and enterprise networking, supporting $280M in annual revenue targets and generating $100M in pipeline through national campaigns.

He started RRDC because customers he advised in every one of those roles kept describing variations of the same problem. Hardware lead times stretching to six and nine months. Component costs that tanked budgets already approved. Hyperscaler bills climbing every quarter while contracts locked them in. Customers wanting dedicated compute at shared-tenancy prices, affordable storage, and real GPU capacity, on a timeline the supply chain couldn't promise. For most of his career the honest answer was that the alternative either didn't exist or wasn't reachable. It is now.

How we make money

The model, in one paragraph.

Hyperscaler reps hit quota when you sign. Resellers bake their margin into your bill. We do neither.

Our advisory is free. There is no engagement fee, no retainer, no bill from RRDC. We're paid by the infrastructure network we represent on a recurring basis — only after our clients become customers of the network, and only for as long as they remain customers. When you contract for capacity, you contract with the network directly. The network bills you. RRDC stays in the advisory loop.

The structure is intentional. It means we earn by finding the right fit and helping it succeed over the long term — not by closing a transaction and walking away. Push the wrong workload onto the network and we lose the relationship inside a year. Push the right one and we stay aligned for years. The only sensible play is to be right on the diagnosis.

This is the same model that insurance brokers, mortgage brokers, and real estate buyers' agents operate under. Well-understood. Disclosed up front. Aligned with the customer's long-term outcome.

"Our advisory is free. We're paid by the network we represent only when our clients become customers — and only for as long as they stay. So we have one job: get the fit right."

— The disclosure, in one sentence.

What we do

RRDC works with North American businesses ready to take workloads off public cloud — or never put them there in the first place. We diagnose the workload, model the cost, recommend the fit, and connect the customer to a private cloud network built for enterprise compute, GPU, and storage. We stay involved through migration and onward.

Who we work with

Mid-market IT and cloud leaders — VPs of Infrastructure and Heads of Cloud out of easy answers on this year's cloud bill.

Enterprise CIOs and CTOs — large regulated firms who need private tenancy, predictable economics, and a clean exit off VMware.

AI and ML teams — startups and corporate ML groups who need GPU capacity now, not in two quarters.

The network behind the work

Enterprise-grade. Global. Invisible by design.

The infrastructure RRDC connects customers to is a global federation of independent enterprise private cloud providers, operating to a single standard and accessed through a unified API.

The architecture

A worldwide network of Tier-3 data centers unified through hardened API integrations. A single global control plane — provision a VM in one region, replicate it to another, route private network traffic between them without leaving the network. Access via a secure web portal, REST API, or Terraform. Open-stack architecture, no OEM lock-in.

The standards

Every provider in the network meets the same baseline. ISO 27001 certified. SOC 2 Type II compliant. 99.99% uptime SLA. Tier-3 data center classification. Private dedicated tenancy. Layer-2 security. Role-based access control. Corporate-only access — no shared public tenants.

The first call costs nothing. The second one costs the hyperscaler.
